Who is the Upside Down Movement?

Maybe you’ve seen the name around town and aren’t sure who we are. Maybe the initials UDM have shown up in your mailbox or inbox.

At UDM, our goal is to provide the highest quality outdoor maintenance services to our clients at a price that’s refreshingly accessible to them. Some lawncare companies focus on price; some on availability or on scope of services. What we want to focus on at Upside Down Movement is on our clients; on the exact right service for them. We also want to focus on our community.

That’s why we’ve established our company on both the quality of our people and the quality of our work.

Outdoor Service with a Mission.

The people working on our crews are more than landscapers or lawnmowers. They’re future crew leaders and operation managers. They’re not just blowing grass clippings off your driveway or soft washing your deck and removing salt build up from your garage floor. They’re learning what it means to serve customers, to solve problems, and to manage a team. They’re growing in their skills and becoming more confident and capable along the way. We’re aren’t just building good lawns. We’re building good people.

Outdoor Service with an Exclamation Point.

The Upside Down Movement isn’t a charity and the work we do isn’t subpar. We’ve create a standard of excellence in our company, from the way we maintain our equipment to the way we leave a job site. By creating a work community of accountability, training, and quality control, we’re able to proudly display our work while also knowing that we’re doing something more than some might recognize.

The point is that the work we’re doing is about more than just the services we print on our brochures or equipment. We’re building professionals who will take the skills they’re acquiring into growth here at UDM and into future careers. Our mission isn’t just to mow lawns or to plow parking lots. It’s to build humans by equipping them, training them, and giving them opportunities to build a career. And in this, we’re building a company based on high standards of work, so that every project we’re a part makes our communities nicer, safer places to live and work.
